The Problem

Today, men have few to no reversible, non-invasive contraception options—leaving the physical and emotional burden of birth control disproportionately on women.
UIUX Strategy
We prioritizes clarity, discretion, and user trust by designing a low-friction, system-level experience that integrates wearable controls and digital feedback to support informed, confident contraceptive decision-making.
Solution
Intra App

A connected AI app designed for both partners to use together—enabling device control, shared visibility, and consent-based tracking. It analyzes usage data with machine learning to learn user preferences, predict upcoming needs, and suggest the optimal time to use the system, supported by reminders and clear, actionable insights.
High-Tech Underwear

Equipped with ultrasound technology that temporarily halts sperm production with just 15 minutes of wear for 7-day protection.

Smart Control Ring

Allows users to monitor and control contraceptive settings with a simple swipe while staying discreet.
Research
Research Goal & Hypothesis
Goal:
Allows users to monitor and control contraceptive settings with a simple swipe while staying discreet.
Hypothesis:
Because spermatogenesis depends on keeping testicular temperature below core body temperature, a mild, controlled local temperature rise can temporarily suppress sperm viability/production and recover after stopping exposure.
Scientific Foundation
Why temperature matters
Testicular temperature is physiologically kept below core body temperature, and spermatogenesis is temperature-sensitive.
Mild heating can disrupt sperm parameters
A ~1–2°C increase has been explored as a potential contraceptive approach with reversibility considerations.
Ultrasound as a controllable way to deliver localized thermal energy
Therapeutic ultrasound has been studied as a non-invasive method to suppress spermatogenesis.
Proof-of-principle in rhesus macaques
Rhesus monkey studies support ultrasound-based suppression as a relevant proof-of-principle model.
Mechanism of Action

Note: Not to damage tissue, but to deliver a controlled, localized thermal effect (conceptual mechanism).
